Peninsula Bluegrass Inc., based in Laurel, Delaware is a family
oriented, non-profit organization that is dedicated to the preservation of
old-time bluegrass music. We have a festival that is held each year on
the third weekend of June in Georgetown, Delaware and try to have Pick-ins
every other month. These Pick-ins are held at various locations, usually
members' homes. Indoors in wintertime, outdoors in summer, and
occasionally these summer Pick-ins are overnight.
We also have
meetings the third Monday of each month which all members are encouraged to
attend. We currently have approximately 150 members and invite more at
any time. Members receive a bi-monthly newsletter and discounts at
